Rachel is a BASI certified pilates instructor who has studied both classical and contemporary methods. She has been instructing for six years and has since pursued certifications for TRX, barre method, yoga sculpt and ActivMotion.
Rachel found pilates in college after it was recommended to her by a physical therapist. While rehabbing an injury and strengthening her body physically, she realized that pilates was responsible for not only transforming her body, but her mind and outlook as well. Through her creative and well structured classes, she aims to use the pilates principles as a modality to introduce proper bio mechanics and functional alignment that will help her clients move more mindfully and efficiently in their daily life.
Through mindful movement and continued practice, Rachel hopes to bring you into a space of more energy, and a stronger and more powerful body and mind.
